Dyson Technical Ceramics™ supply a wide range of high purity Alumina and Zirconia Laboratory Crucibles.  Materials include high purity Alumina, Zirconia Toughened Alumina, Partially stabilised (PSZ) and fully stabilised Zirconia (FSZ).

High Purity Alumina Laboratory Crucibles

Dyson Technical Ceramics™ offers a large selection of high purity Re-crystallised Alumina (>99% Al2O3) lab crucibles. Capacities range from 0.05ml to 1900ml.  Al2O3 content is typically between 99.5% and 99.8% in a classic straight walled or tapered configuration.  Material bulk density is between 3.8 and 3.9 g/ml.

ZTA – Zirconia Toughened Alumina Lab Crucibles

Dyson Technical Ceramics™ offers zirconia toughened alumina lab crucibles, which are available in the same configurations and capacities as Alumina Crucibles.  ZTA bridges the gap between Alumina and Zirconia,  offering increased erosion resistance and strength over Alumina but without the added expense of Zirconia.  Material bulk density is typically 4.0 g/ml.

Zirconia – Partially Stabilised Zirconia (PSZ) and Fully Stabilised Zirconia (FSZ)

Available with capacities between 0.05ml and 420ml, with material densities between 5.7 and 6.0 g/ml.  Zirconia offers extreme erosion resistance to most refractory ceramics.  FSZ is 100% cubic zirconia, which offers superior strength and tougness properties.
